La Manga has a choice of three superb, 18-hole championship courses, each with its own unique style and terrain, but all offering tranquil surroundings and many outstanding views, there is something to challenge golfers of all ages and abilities.

The South Course has been the venue for many major professional tournaments; Spanish Opens, PGA Championships and Qualifying Schools for both the men's and ladies' European Tours.

Set amidst pine woodlands, the West Course's design closely follows the natural contours of the undulating land. It is a deceiving course, with frequent changes in elevation. The tight front nine holes demand accurate driving to avoid the 'barrancas' while the back nine up amongst the hills are more open.

The North Course is an undulating championship course, sprawling between palm trees, lakes and 'barrancas'. These natural gullies feature on all three golf courses and add an extra dimension to the game.

The Golf Academy employs PGA qualified golf professionals and offers courses to groups or individuals of all ages and all abilities.

• HACIENDA DEL ALAMO - Approx 35 minutes

Designed by golf architect Dave Thomas, the course nestles among the resort and is backed up by outstanding practice facilities, including a five-star golf academy, 36-bay driving range and six full practice holes.

Considered the longest in Spain, Hacienda del Alamo's 7,400-yard course boasts eight lakes and 84 bunkers and will provide a challenge for all standard of golfer. It is very soft, being built on natural terrain. At the same time, it has some very well-planned obstacles. Its 7,400 yards takes five hours to play, and there are tee-offs every ten minutes.

Hacienda del Alamo provides the ideal place to sharpen your game and perfect your swing. The golf academy includes the latest state-of-the-art instruction technology and you can put your hard work into practice on the driving range or on one of the six practice holes available.

In the high performance Academy there are 36 driving bays, and six par 3 and par 4 practice holes, two putting greens and practice bunkers. All supported by a team of highly qualified professionals to guide you.

• MOSA TRAJECTUM - Approx 5 minutes

Mosa Trajectum has 27 championship holes so you can not only play one but 3 separate 18 hole, par 72 courses. Add to this the 9 hole par 3 Challenge Course, set up for competitions held by the Federation. High quality and built according to the highest course specification both USGA and PGA standard.

Divided up into 3 well defined 9 hole courses, creating a beautiful landscape of Desert and Paradise holes. Each 9 hole course is different from the other two and offers its own particular challenge. The first nine holes are called the ´Stone Course´ and are best suited to the highly technical player.

The second nine holes the Olive course provide an abrupt change of scene, and the player is now faced with a links course. Here the course weaves its way through hundreds of olive trees. In true links style a variety of grass has been planted that gets longer the farther you are from the fairway. The third nine are aptly named the Pine course with 3500 pine trees planted into the existing scenery. This part of the course traverses the upper areas of the development, offering great views of the surrounding countryside as well as an exciting round of golf.

The Golf Academy offers both individual and group lessons. The driving range is exceptional in that it has been constructed using natural grass.

Adjacent to this is a fully stocked pro-shop staffed by helpful professionals. Other services include a putting green, pitching green, practice bunker, electric buggies, trolley rental, club rental, changing rooms, showers, lockers, restaurant and a specific Adventure Golf Course for children.

• LA SERENA GOLF - Approx 25 minutes

La Serena Golf lies in the municipality of Los Alcazares, occupying an expanse of land right next to the Mar Menor. Mainly flat, the golf course's main difficulties will be the prevailing Levante wind and the many water hazards that come into play in 16 of the 18 holes. The course, which is not overly long, has a traditional structure. Accuracy off the tee is a must for the player, who must thread his way to the green amongst clusters of bunkers, desert areas and the aforementioned water hazards.

La Serena Golf has a large Club House providing all facilities and services.
The golf services are located on the ground floor: Dressing rooms, pro-shop, caddy master and storage facilities. Private tutor, group lessons and junior lessons are available.

As well as the “La Serena” a-la-carte restaurant, the first floor has a large bar-cafeteria with a terrace overlooking the Mar Menor sea and the course.

• RODA GOLF - Approx 20 minutes

Roda Golf's 18 hole, par 72, golf course has been designed by Dave Thomas.
With its strategically placed lakes and bunkers, it is a challenging course for golfers of all levels.

The course is complimented with rolling fairways, lakes and palm trees and has more than 10,800 m2 of greens, putting greens of 950 m2 and bunker surface of 15,200 m2.

Golf facilities at Roda include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, changing rooms, reception area and club house. The bar and terrace area provides food and beverages throughout the day.
